Privacy Policy

Last updated September 25, 2026

Lock and Lay is a hobby game run by an individual operator. This page explains what we store about you and why. The short version: we keep what the game needs to work, we don't sell it, and you can ask us to delete it.

What we collect

Cookies and local storage

The game keeps a session token, your breeder name and your theme choice in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in and keep your settings. No third-party cookies are set by us.

How we use it

Only to run the game: signing you in, saving your progress, showing the shared market, feed and chat, and telling other players when you post or invite them. We don't sell or rent your data, and we don't send it to anyone except the sign-in provider you chose.

Where it lives

Game data is saved in a file on the server that runs the game (a small cloud instance or the operator's own machine). Reasonable care is taken to keep that server private, but this is a hobby project, not a bank.

Your choices

Children

The game is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly keep data about them. If you think a child has an account, email us and we'll remove it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change. Significant changes will be mentioned in the in-game news.
